  • Curling Club

FES’ Curling Club works to introduce more youth and newcomers—especially within the local Chinese community—to the sport of curling. On November 8, we partnered with the Peace Arch Curling Club to host a community Open House, welcoming nearly 60 participants. Because the curling club has historically had few young players and limited Chinese involvement, this event marked an important step toward broader engagement.

By the end of the event, nearly 20 participants expressed interest in joining a league to continue learning and playing. Moving forward, FES will continue supporting future Open House events and encourage interested youth to join the Dragon League, a new league where beginners can train, practice, and compete together.
