• What We Do

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Club provides students with the opportunity to challenge themselves, build new skills, and grow as leaders through the internationally recognized Duke of Edinburgh’s Award program. In partnership with Alpha International Education, an official award centre, our club guides members through the program’s four key areas: volunteering, physical activity, skill development, and adventurous journeys. Students work towards earning Bronze, Silver, or Gold Awards that are recognized worldwide.

    Mission

Our mission is to empower youth to discover their potential by encouraging resilience, service, and leadership. Through the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, we inspire students to step outside their comfort zones, give back to their communities, and develop lifelong skills that prepare them for future challenges and opportunities.

  • About the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a world-renowned youth achievement program founded in the UK in 1956 by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Today, it operates in over 130 countries and territories, including Canada, and is recognized globally by schools, universities, and employers.

The Award is open to young people ages 14 to 24 and is designed to help them develop skills, resilience, and a spirit of service through four main areas:

Volunteering – giving back to the community

Physical Activity – improving health and fitness

Skill Development – learning or deepening personal interests

Adventurous Journey – exploring the outdoors through teamwork and challenge

Participants progress through three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, each requiring a greater degree of commitment and achievement. Completing the Award demonstrates determination, leadership, and social responsibility — qualities that are widely valued around the world.
